La spiaggia di Cala Zafferano, meglio conosciuta come Porto Zafferano, si trova in località Porto Tramatzu, ai piedi di Capo Teulada. Si trova ai piedi della scogliera di Capo Teulada ed è caratterizzata da fondale basso e sabbia bianchissima e fine, con dune basse e piante di ginepro. Le acque sono cristalline e trasparenti. L'unico modo per arrivare alla spiaggia è via mare, attraverso imbarcazioni proprie e a noleggio, o con servizio di visite guidate.La spiaggia è zona militare, appartenente infatti al Poligono militare di Capo Teulada ed è dunque visitabile solo di passaggio via mare, nel periodo estivo. L'area è sottoposta a divieti quali l'ormeggio e lo sbarco vietati per tutto l'arco dell'anno. Non essendo di fatto visitabile non ci sono servizi per i visitatori.
